Well, Coding and marking system is like that most people haven’t thought about it but if once you know what it is then wherever you go you will notice that there are multiple uses of this coding and marking system.
The coding and marking system is a way of putting alphanumeric coding onto the products. In our day to day life we use lots of products which have small black printed words or numbers but never give them a second thought. So this is the result of these products have been coded by any technique of coding and marking system through inkjet or laser machines. Coding and marking is often completed on almost any products from sheets of metal eggshells.
Now thinking about what’s good about coding and marking :
For example, The company who package jam in glass jars that receives a complaint about there was a broken glass in one of their pots of jam. From this, the company thought of other jars of jam which may also contain the piece of broken glass so they will recall all of the pots of jam that they have sold, it could even send them out of business.
Now imagine, the coding and marking was a part of the packaging process and each pot was marked with a batch number. The company would very quickly be able to recall that certain batch and could also tell exactly where the specific batches of the jars were sent.
Of course, This is just a hypothetical scenario and there are many more reasons that make coding and marking important to a whole host of businesses.
