I basically do the packaging for my own products at my own plant and always needed a proper industry grade inkjet printer. I needed a high speed printing device to make high quality prints on labels as fast as possible.

So I decided to try out something. I was checking out the internet for various industrial inkjet printing systems and came across Citronix systems. Here I read about the ci1000 that could print on cans at speed 600 feet/minute for two line codes. This system cost me around £4000 total with installation and practically my output rate has been doubled.

The system comes with a 2-year warranty that can be extended. Although a little bit less to my liking I have been assured that the industrial inkjet printer can achieve 30,000 hours and 450,000,000 million print cycles Mean Time before Failure (MTBF). If that was not enough, I could of course go in for extended warranty. And besides at the end of two years I must have made enough to add another industrial inkjet printer for the label printing process.

I additionally plan to use the system to print for other manufacturers. It is a nice way to make a little extra this way so that other expenses can get easily managed. I have been using the system for 6 months now and that machine hardly requires any maintenance. We just need to keep the ink flowing and it keeps on printing. I don’t get any dripping problems, no wastage and no mess whatsoever. So yes you can say I got a great industrial inkjet printer at a budget price and can make really great use of it.. It suffices to say that the machine is a high utility device.

How coding and printing system is used in industries
